South Florida PBS Renews with The Media Audit

In May, South Florida PBS and The Media Audit jointly announced South Florida PBS’s renewal of its long-term agreement for The Media Audit research and training services. The renewal includes WPBT (Channel 2) that serves south Florida, and WXEL (Channel 42) that serves the greater West Palm Beach market. “We are big believers in Public Broadcast” says Tracy Austin, Vice President of The Media Audit. “As a long-time Florida resident, I know how Public TV is an integral part of our culture. It reaches discriminating consumers who have money to spend. WPBT and WXEL reflect these strengths and The Media Audit research helps spotlight them” stated Ms. Austin.
“We have a great partnership with Tracy and The Media Audit” commented Heidi Lieb, Senior Director of Business Development. “Tracy and her support team understand the value of our public viewers. We have unique stations that should be an integral part of advertisers for businesses of all levels. If advertisers are skipping our stations, they are missing our consumers. Tracy shows us how we play a role in the market and her knowledge is invaluable to us.”
“The Media Audit software gives us the opportunity to pull information easily for us. The world is getting more complex but The Media Audit keeps it quick and simple.” – Heidi Lieb
WPBT went on air in 1955 and WXEL in 1967 but joined forces in July 2015 to form South Florida PBS; the 7th largest PBS market in the US. Other channels include Create, Health and PBS Kids.
The Media Audit is a 45-year-old media and marketing research company that helps media in more than 90 US markets by understanding their strengths and role in the media landscape.
